What Helm helps you answer
Find the view for your question and understand which actions record money.
The main views start from the questions you ask about your money. Setup lives in Settings so the everyday navigation stays focused on those questions.
Choose a view

Set up only what you need
Settings manages accounts, banks, cards, people, income sources, plans, categories and session controls. Start with one account and dated balance. Add other setup when it helps you answer a real question.
Plans and payments are different
Adding a bill, subscription or income source does not move money. Record the payment or receipt when it happens. Imports also require preview and an explicit start before financial recording.
For example, a fictional EGP 350 bill due 10 October 2026 is a future commitment. Its actual payment needs its own account, amount and date.
