Use reminders and browser notifications
Understand what reminders mean, control browser permission and keep notification actions separate from payments.
Reminders draw attention to a commitment or date. They are not a statement that a bill has been paid or that money has arrived.
Review a reminder
- Read the name, due date, amount and currency.
- Open the associated plan or commitment when you need context.
- Check Activity before recording a payment that might already be imported.
- Record the actual money movement only when it happened.
For a fictional example, EGP 350 due 10 October 2026 is a reminder about an expected bill. Dismissing it does not reduce the EGP balance or record payment.
Enable browser notifications
Use the available reminder or notification setting and respond to the browser’s permission prompt. If permission is denied, change it in the browser’s site settings when you want notifications. The browser controls whether it can show them.
You can still review in-app reminders when browser permission is unavailable. Do not rely on an untested email, SMS or another device delivering the same alert.
Change or dismiss a reminder
Use the reminder’s controls for its attention state. Change the underlying plan when its due date, recurrence or status changed. The reminder and the actual payment are separate records with separate purposes.
If notifications do not appear
Check site permission, whether the browser is allowed to send notifications, and whether the relevant reminder is still active. Open Coming to review commitments directly. Notifications are an aid; Coming is the place to inspect the current upcoming picture.
